Miko's Wedding

Hi!

Just finish Miko's wedding.......

Though she never gave us alot of tasks but there was quite a few things for me to do..

I was busy taking notes for my own wedding.

Recently changing my style, trying not to wear those low low cut one.....Not young liao leh.... But I still like to wear short short....

Anyway, the next day, which is Mr Ng's day I told Mr Ng I want to make some small donation to this "Lee Ah Moi Old Aged Home"


It was my fortune teller who told me about this home.

This was founded by Lee Ah Moi who is the mother of the director and also the grandmother of "Tim" who we spoken to.

Lee Ah Moi used to be a nurse and after world war 2, there was alot of Samsui women and Mahjies who are worried about being old and alone so they gave her some money to find a place and take care of them.

I personally feel that it is not easy to carry such a big responsibility, not easy to
take care of elder people and definitely not easy to keep that selflessness going on for more than 50 years.

There are a total 110 patients in the home. there was 8 elderly patients where their heartless children put them in the home, gave fake address and number and disappear without paying and did not visited them.

Tim show us around the place. Most of the female patients are bed-ridden.

(That's means I have a higher chance then Mr Ng that I might be bed ridden wor.....I scared.)

Tim told us that they are not those kind of "commercialize" old age home where they have branches and the whole family is doing it more for helping the patients.

My fortune teller said, even if you want to donate only $10, do not feel that it is too little, if everyone think that way, then no one will donate to help.
